Stefan Majewski in Thinking Football

Next Thursday, the 12th, at 19:00 hours, the polish documentary “Mundial: The Highest Stakes” (2014, Michal Bielawski) will be projected in the Thinking Football Film Festival. A documentary film that recreates that country’s most important soccer moment, which coincided in time with the beginning of the end of Communism in Poland; a time, in which football and politics overlap, making it all the more difficult to differentiate where one commenced and the other ended.

After the film screening, the audience will be able to engage in dialog with the film director, Michal Bielawski, as well as with the former Polish international and member of that 1982 World Cup team, Stefan Majewski.
