Paco Angulo, elected AEMEF President

Athletic Club Medical Services member, Dr. Paco Angulo, is the new president of the Spanish Association of Football Team Doctors, AEMEF, after the general assembly of members celebrated recently during XIX AEMEF Course in Valencia.

Doctor Angulo, a member of AEMEF since a few months after its foundation and who in the previous legislature exerted as vice-president, takes over the post as head of the group from Dr. Xavier Peirau, who has occupied the AEMEF presidency the last three years.

Member of the Athletic Club Medical Services for almost three decades and Athletic premier team physician for 19 seasons, Angulo will be the second president of the six that AEMEF has had since its creation that is a member of the medical services of our organization. Previously, Doctor Angel Gorostidi, ex-head of the medical services when Angulo initiated his activity and Athletic Club board member, was AEMEF president since the foundation of the Association in 1989 until 1996.
