Access Control to San Mamés

With regard to the new security measures to be implemented in all football grounds, the Ertzaintza has informed Athletic Club that, as of the match on Sunday, 6 December, a more exhaustive security control system will be implemented at all stadium entrances with the purpose of preventing access to unauthorized persons or the introduction of dangerous objects or substances.

Among other measures, security presence will consist of the following:
– Personal, carry-on and clothing security checks upon access to seating areas.
– We recommend that attendees not bring in any sort of baggage (bags, knapsacks…) or just simply necessary ones, to facilitate entry fluidity.
– Security measures will also extend to VIP and Premium Boxes, as well as access to parking and Press area.

In general, we recommend that attendees to San Mamés allow enough time to avoid last minute agglomerations, with the consequent apprehension that does not favour the general security aims and intentions.
