Minute of silence and armband

After the death of our former coach and player Rafa Iriondo, on 25 February, a minute of silence will be kept during the pre-match ceremony corresponding to the UEL against Olympique de Marseille in San Mamés and our team’s players will be donning black armbands in his honour.

Athletic Club would to thank UEFA for its condolences for the death of Iriondo and the authorization to be able to carry out the minute of silence.

In the same manner, we would like to indicate that the protocol prior to the match has been moved up, including the floral offering by OM at Pichichi’s bust, which is why we ask that everyone arrives to San Mamés as soon as possible.
