The request to play in Lasesarre is refused

Due to the extraordinary accumulation of matches (Sunday April 3, Athletic Club – Granada / Monday April 4, Bilbao Athletic – Real Oviedo / Wednesday April 6, official trainings of Uefa Europa League / Thursday April 7, Athletic Club – Sevilla / Sunday April 9 Athletic Club – Rayo Vallecano), taking into account the weather forecast and in order to ensure as far as possible the best conditions of the pitch, Athletic Club requested on Monday 21 of March to LNFP the ability to play the game of the Second Division between Athletic Bilbao – Real Oviedo SAD, scheduled for Monday, April 4, at 20:30 pm in the field Lasesarre (Barakaldo) instead of in San Mames.

In the communication it has been received from RFEF today the possibility is rejected, after hearing the LNFP and the refusal of Real Oviedo SAD to that change.

Athletic Club wishes to acknowledge the cooperation and willingness of the City of Barakaldo and Barakaldo CF for easing the game being held in Lasesarre.
