Rain and access control to San Mamés

On Saturday, 14th of May, we expect the possibility of rain in Bilbao, so Athletic Club would like to advise some basic security protocol, following the rules of the Stadium that will affect all attendees of San Mamés.

According to the notice of the Professional Football League, we would like to kindly remind you that it’s not allowed the entrance with motorcycle helmets, rods, selfie sticks or some kind of umbrellas. In this sense, Athletic Club wants to say that due to the extension works hand having removed the 70% of cushions of ETFE, un indeterminate number of places have been affected by the rain during the last days, and it might happen again during the match.

Athletic Club will offer to the owners of not allowed stuff, a label to take them back in the end of the game. The collection points will be strengthened:
Gates 7 to 13, are collected in the gate 7
Gates 14 to 19, are collected in the gate 16
Gate 20 to 26, are collected in the gate 23

The security protocol includes the frisk in the accesses for South and North lower stands, and in collaboration with Ertzaintza, through the security coordinator, random frisks in the rest of the gates.
