Saturday November 12, new access to the facilities of Lezama for both, the public and vehicles, as well as the new underground parking will be released. The access used until now will only be enabled for Athletic Club staff and coaches.
Also, during the weekend of November 12 and 13, the usual activity in pitch 2 will be resumed after the construction of the new grandstand and the replacement of the previous grass and matches will be also played in the new pitch number 8. So, the Athletic cadet will play against Sestao River on Saturday 12 at 11:00 am in pitch 8; The Bilbao Athletic will face the Amorebieta SD the same day at 17:00 in the pitch 2 and the Athletic Club will play against UDG Tenerife Sunday at 10:45 am on the same stage.
How to access
To access by vehicle to the facilities, we remember the itineraries depending on the arrival area.
Thus, from the area of the neighborhood La Cruz the previous entrance on the left will remain and once arrived in Lezama center it is necessary to make a change of direction in the round to enter, a few meters, on the facilities. If the arrival occurs after crossing the center of Lezama, you will have to leave behind the round and the entrance to the facilities will be in the same direction of the march.

Once inside the facilities, the vehicles will access to the new underground parking and when the existing parking lots are occupied, the entry to the facility won’t be allowed, being possible to park in the deterrent car parks used until now and located in the Polygon of La Cruz, at the entrance of Lezama village and next to the Euskotren station. To this end, the staff needed to indicate and facilitate parking will be located both in the access to the facilities and in the round of La Cruz and Lezama village.
Patience and understanding
Athletic Club, once again, requests to all visitors that come to its facilities use public transport (people arriving in Euskotren should get off at the final station in Lezama and not at La Cruz) and, at the same time, regardless of the transport chosen, patience and understanding for the inconveniences that may arise, due to some minor issues concerning the end of the work.
So we ask to follow the indications of the staff of the Club that will be present and will try to help in everything necessary.
