Referring to the statements of the player Sabin Merino in which he has mentioned the pathology that has been operated as an ‘inguinal hernia’, the medical services of Athletic Club wish to point out that this generic name is known in the field of sport as ‘Sport hernia’, which, in turn, is one of the main causes (not the only) of pubalgia.
