Recommendations for fans in Cyprus

APOEL FC has submitted to Athletic Club the following recommendations for the Athletic Club fans to visit Cyprus to witness the UEL match between the local team and our team:

– There will be no meeting point for our fans.

– The local police will escort all the buses from the hotels.

-The gates for the visiting fans’ stand will open at 17:30 (Cyprus time) and Athletic Club supporters will have to be in the field by 18:00 at the latest, two hours before the start of the match.

– People who travel in small groups or individually are recommended to go in time to the stadium and be careful in their movements around the city.

-At the end of the game, fans must stay in their localities. Notices will be given about the public address system of the GSP stadium.

In the same way, our club wishes to remind its members and fans that, for European competition matches and in compliance with current safety regulations, it was essential to acquire the tickets for those matches through the protocol marked by the Club and UEFA.

This is the only way that ensures that UEFA and the local club know the identity of the attendees, thus enabling the location of fans in the security zones established by the host.

Failure to comply with this may mean that both the local club and the relevant authorities deny access to the stadium to persons who do not have tickets to the security zones assigned to the visiting fans or to establish other measures.

Also, it could be the circumstance that these people access the field, creating situations of insecurity as the localities are located among the local fans.
