Athletic Club will play the UEFA Europa League

Due to the result of the final of the Cup, Athletic Club has qualified to play the UEFA Europa League during the 2017/18 season. It’s the 30th European classification for our team and the 4th consecutive in the last 4 seasons. This circumstance hadn’t take place since the eighties of the last century, specifically with 5 consecutive classifications between seasons 1982/83 and 1986/87.

The European adventure for Athletic Club will kick off in the 3rd round, and the schedule determined by the UEFA is: July 27th First leg, August 3rd Second leg. The draw to know our rival will be held on July 14th.
