The Athletic Club begins the process of changing the seat so that the members of the Club who wish to do so can opt for a different free seat from the one they occupy in San Mamés.
The change of seat would be effective for the next match played in San Mames, unless the sale of tickets to the public for that match is already open at the time of such change, in which case, the effect would operate from the Monday after the match.
Mode of participating in the process
The interested Member must show this interest by accessing the link available in the Members’ Txoko on the official Club website www.athletic-club.eus with his/her Member code and PIN number and following the instructions given there.
Joining the process does not mean giving up your current location. The Member may in any case, and after checking the seats available at the time of the appointment for the change, decide whether to keep the seat he/she occupies or to change places.
Available Seats
On the following link you can consult the list of free seats in the whole field:

Criteria for the call
Members who have signed up will become part of an orderly list from oldest to youngest, by which they will be summoned to see the available seats available throughout the course.
They may group together if they wish and, although they are a group, they may choose to be seated in non-adjacent seats, although they must always be from the same grandstand. In the case of a grouping, the change must be made by all or none of the members of the group.
Seniority Determination
Seniority is defined as the period of time elapsed since the date of entry (the last if there is more than one) of a member into the Club, as a member by number.
For the calculation of seniority, the period of time elapsed from the date of entry until the date of publication of the list (April 4, 2018) will be taken into account.
For the calculation of the average seniority of a group, the antiquities of all the members of the group are added together (the sum of the periods of time elapsed since the date of registration) and divided by the number of members of the group. In this way, all groups and individual members will be perfectly comparable.
In the event of a tie in the seniority calculation, the group (or individual member) that includes the senior member first will be named.
If the tie persists, the group (or individual member) that includes the member with the member code closest to 1 will be listed first.
Reduced mobility
A Member who holds a certificate from the Provincial Council of Bizkaia attesting to a scale of mobility difficulties, or who documents the difficulty of going up and down stairs, may choose his or her seat in row 26 of the lower tier, reserved exclusively for such cases.
Deadline to request change of seat
The link will be available on the Members’ Txoko on the Club’s website from 10:00 on 16 March to 12:00 on 31 March. No further requests will be dealt with for any reason.
Publication of the list and call for entries
The List of Members who, individually or in groups, have requested a change of location will be published on the official Club website on 4 April. The list can also be consulted at the Ibaigane Member Services Office.
It will include the details of the Member codes and the corresponding seniority, for each individual or group, according to their choice.
If an applicant is unable to keep his/her appointment, he/she may contact us by e-mail, telephone or in person to delay it.
Seat choice
It will not be necessary for the Member to attend the appointment. It will be sufficient for the person who does so on his/her behalf to present the valid membership card, together with a photocopy of the valid ID card of the person who comes on behalf of the Member. In the case of Members who enjoy a discount for age and seniority, it will be essential that they come in person, unless they can prove in a duly justified way that this is not possible.
If the change is effective, the corresponding adjustment will be made for the difference between the quota of the current locality and that of the new locality chosen. Payment or collection of the difference will be made on the spot, by card or in cash.
Once the change and the regularisation have been made, this decision is irrevocable.
Other considerations
Tickets that may be released by Members who actually change seats will not be eligible for subsequent appointments, but will be reserved for the next season’s seat change process. The list published together with these rules is the only one eligible.
In the event that a member conducts a swap or locality exchange with another member prior to the commencement of the locality change process, once this process has been completed, the member may not carry out a reverse swap with that member. It will also not be possible to make swaps during this process.
The Club will publish, at the end of each working day, the original list of available seats by marking in red all those seats that have been selected on that day or on previous days.
Once this process of change of location has been completed, all the Members will have a period of one week to go to see the locations not chosen by the Members who have participated in the process, plus the locations released during this process of change of location in the first ten rows of the North Lower Tribune and South Lower Tribune, and to formalize a change of location there, if they so wish.
At the end of this period, new members will be admitted to the locations not chosen by the current members plus the locations released during this process of change of location in the first ten rows of North Lower Tribune and South Lower Tribune
