Bizkaiko Txakolina will continue to be present in San Mamés

Athletic Club and the Regulating Council of the DO (Certification of Origin) Bizkaiko Txakolina have renewed their agreement by which, during the 2018-19 season, Bizkaiko Txakolina will continue to be present in San Mames VIP Area all the official competition matches and, likewise, will offer a range of activities and advantages to the members of our entity.

In this way, our Club continues in the line of recognising and giving visibility to the diffusion of the gastronomy of our historical territory, as it has been doing with chef, restaurants, schools and other organisations.

In each match, two wineries attached to the Certification of Origin will offer the possibility of tasting their txakolis to those who are attending the San Mames Vip ring.

According to above, the agreement reached by Athletic Club and DO Bizkaiko Txakolina includes, in addition to the presence in the central ring of the field, other activities open to all members of the Club with the intention to bring the knowledge of txakoli, its main characteristics and its making process to the members of the Athletic Club.
