New stand in the field 2: capacity for 3,250 people

The field 2 of Lezama will open its new stand in the match between Bilbao Athletic and CD Mirandés this saturday in Lezama.

It is a singular building that closes the east side of the field destined to the official matches of the superior categories of Athletic Club, being located perpendicularly to the tribunes of Piru Gainza and the Arco. The new stand has inherited the dimensions in width and height of the Piru Gainza tribune and has increase the capacity of this field to 3,250 spectators.

The stand has three vertical accesses, two by means of stairs and another one by means of an elevator for people with reduced mobility. The new stand has also a new scoreboard.

Under the stand, two dressing rooms have been fitted out for professional teams, another dressing room area for referees, together with a work area, an anti-doping control area and two toilets for the general public, with a total surface area of 600m2.

The entire design of the new stand has taken into consideration the particular needs of the professional teams and has been build with the aim of becoming the reference infrastructure for our women’s teams.
