Ladies team with Belako

Athletic Club and Belako music band have joined forces with the aim of supporting the group from Mungia’s nomination at the next European Music Awards ceremony, which will be held on November 4th in BEC Barakaldo.

The Mungia band, whose members are Billalabeitia brothers (Lore Nekane and Josu Ximun) Lander Zalakain and Cris Lizarraga, are fighting for the best band in the Spanish State award together with other names like Brisa Fenoy, Rosalía, Love of Lesbian and Viva Suecia.

This last Wednesday, at Lezama, Athletic Club’s women’s first team wore Belako t-shirts and launched a message for red and white fans. They called on fans to vote and support Belako at the MTV awards.

For their part, Belako also wanted to show their support to Athletic Club for all the years of work towards equality between women and men in the world of sport.
