The Chef Fernando Canales will head the gastronomy of San Mamés

The restaurant, the tavern and the special gastronomy for San Mamés events will have a new restaurateur.

The restaurant, the tavern and the special gastronomy for San Mamés events will have a new restaurateur.

The project will be led by Fernando Canales supported by his team of professionals. The renowned chef from Bilbao has a Michelin star and a brilliant trajectory both in terms of creativity and management of gastronomic projects.

This new impulse allows Athletic Club to promote business development in the stadium, in addition to continuing to position San Mamés as a sports venue with a unique gastronomic approach and international reference, which makes the stadium the “Gune Gastronomiko de Bizkaia”, through a world as different but as visible as football.

In the next dates we will share in detail the new project and the gastronomic proposals will be communicated with the reopening dates of the tavern and the restaurant, which will be closed from today 13th of May 13 to complete its new implementation.
