María Tato has presented this Thursday, 23rd of May, the inaugural speech of the Bilbao International Football Summit 2019, which is held in the capital of Biscay and that has counted with the outstanding presence of various personalities from the world of football.
The Deputy Secretary of Athletic Club, María Tato, has presented this Thursday, 23rd of May, the inaugural speech of the Bilbao International Football Summit 2019, which is held in the capital of Biscay and that has counted with the outstanding presence of various personalities from the world of football.
After an introduction by Mario G. Gurrionero, director of BIFS19, and Axel Torres, sports commentator and presenter of the event, María Tato has focused her talk on the vindication of women’s football and on an exhibition of milestones that reveal the growth of women’s football in an unstoppable and global way, starting from the Cup match between Athletic Club and Atlético de Madrid on 30 January (a record attendance in its day). Maria Tato has pointed out that “the future lies in women’s football, it has been cleary seen during this year and it is going to be even more evident after the World Cup held in France.”
The inauguration was also attended by the footballer of the first team, Erika Vázquez, as well as the directors Iker Goñi, Goyo Arbizu, Óscar Arce and Manu Delgado.
