For the first time in the history of the Club, the members who reached 25 years of seniority last year will receive a commemorative badge of this important milestone as a sign of recognition and gratitude, in addition to the diploma awarded to them until now. The event symbolizes a commitment that is both emotional for each member and indispensable for the future of the Club. In this sense, the badge, designed and crafted for the occasion, reflects the Athletic’s gratitude for this medullar bond, a clear sign of a shared identity.
This Thursday afternoon, a representation of these 1,026 members received their corresponding diplomas and commemorative badges at the Club’s headquarters. The president, Aitor Elizegi, did not want to miss this first delivery and has conveyed his congratulations in person to these first ten honorees, specifically, the ten youngest, eight men and two women. None of them was over 36 years old, which meant that they had become members at the age of just ten.
The number 10 as a symbolic representation of the tribute to an entire collective. That is, congratulations and recognition to each and every one of the 1,026 members who have completed 25 years of seniority. Zorionak, bihotz-bihotzez!
