The Athletic Club ladies’ team footballers have received a talk this morning on the new changes in the rules of the game by the international referee De Burgos Bengoetxea. Before carrying out the third session of the week, and to two days of the dispute of the Euskal Herria Kopa against the Real Sociedad in Azpeitia, the red-and-white players listened and debated with the collegiate on the different aspects that will affect the game.
Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea has been an international referee since 2018 and has recently been appointed as a VAR referee for the U-17 World Championship to be held in Brazil from 26 October to 17 November. One of the great novelties of ladies’ football this season will be the participation of a fourth referee for the first time in the matches of the Primera Iberdrola.
