Andrea De la Nava, debut and first-team player

Andrea de la Nava has made her debut with Athletic Club after her signing this summer and has done it with a great protagonism. The goalkeeper from Bizkaia has been a first-team player in the first two matches of the Primera Iberdrola and thus values her start next to two excellent goalkeepers like Ainhoa Tirapu and Andere Leguina, who face their fifteenth and twelfth season respectively: “I have two teammates who have been here for many years and I thought that being a first-team player was going to be complicated, but we have worked all three for it and it has been up to me. Now I only have to continue working and when I have the opportunity again, to continue like this.”

The 25-year-old Barakaldo player has become the tenth goalkeeper to defend the red-and-white goal. The last one to debut with Athletic Club’s first team was Ane Otxoa in November 2012.
