The first experience of the guided tours to Lezama
The first guided tour, both outside and inside the facilities of the club, has been able to enjoy fifteen members with some outstanding guides
The Athletic Club has started today an initiative to get Lezama, the club’s hearth, even closer to the members. With a group formed by 15 people, previously signed up to the Member’s Corner, it has been realised a guided tour all around the facilities of the youth academy of Athletic Club.
Firstly, the president Aitor Elizegi has received all members in the press room along with Raúl Loroño, responsible of Player Services area, and Manolo Delgado, who knows from first-hand all the changes on the Lezama facilities since the inauguration of 1971. In addition to being able to see closely the progress of the works for the construction of the new buildings and all the fields, the guests have known some areas reserved for the first men team as their dining room, where they have finished the visit having a coffee, and sharing opinions and anecdotes with Rafa Alkorta, Andoni Ayarza and Joseba Aguirre, responsibles for the sports management of the club.
A really especial experience to know first-hand the work of all professionals who make Lezama a more alive youth academy than ever.
