Athletic Zaleak, a new Fan Club in Araba

After being constituted as an association in February 2018 and getting registered in September last year, the Peña Athletic Zaleak of Laudio has made its debut last Wednesday in Laudio after twelve months since its launch, following the regulation of Athletic Club.

The event, held at the headquarters of the club in Pagolar Taberna, was attended by two players of the ladies first team, Nekane Díez and Marta Perea, (the male team had an evening training), by Aitor Bernardo, Begoña Castaño and Goyo Arbizu from the Board of Directors, plus former players such as José Ángel Iribar, José Mari Argoitia or Andoni Goikoetxea.

Athletic Club has 9 fan clubs all over Araba. In addition to Laudio’s club, in Aiaraldea, we can mention Artziniega’s Shark and Amurrio’s Etxegoien. In the capital, a classic like the Peña Txapeldun in the Piscis de Juntas Generales. The Cuadrilla de Gorbeialdea is represented by the Peña Urkabustaiz in Izarra; in the Llanada Sorginetxe in Agurain and in Rioja Alavesa a luxury lineup with the Peña El Katxi in Oion, Peña Samaniego 94 and Óscar de Marcos Rioja Alavesa in Laguardia-Biasteri, the oldest of all the Fan Clubs in Araba, that celebrated its XXV Anniversary last June.
