From the Museum to the Box: Real Valladolid CF

Athletic Club Museum presents two historical items suiting the occasion and visit of Real Valladolid CF.

Facing the visit of Real Valladolid on Sunday at 18.30 in the ninth day of LaLiga, Athletic will present at the Box of Authorities of San Mamés two historical item, part of Athletic Club Museum, that commemorates moments in which red-and-white and white have been found throughout history.

The first of them is an official flag, the one used the first time Athletic played in the League in Valladolid, on 12 December 1948, and the second item, a souvenir of the inauguration of the field Valladolid, the New Jose Zorrilla, on 20 February 1982.

Real Valladolid debuted in the First Division in the 1948-49 season, a category in which they have played, taking into account the currents one, 44 seasons. Its first match in the top category was, in fact, in San Mamés, with a score of 7 to 2 in favor of Athletic (three goals by Zarra, three by Panizo and one by Iriondo).
