Ainhoa goes through surgery and passes her test

The veteran goalkeeper went through surgery for the first time in her career. It was due to a fracture in her left little finger and she only thinks about recovering as soon as possible.

Ainhoa Tirapu jokes about becoming a field player. The goalkeeper of Athletic Club is going through her postoperative in a good mood. She went through surgery last Thursday at the Clinic of Virgen Blanca. Her little finger of her left hand was broken during training in Granadilla on the eve of the match against the Canarian box, last League day at Primera Iberdrola. This made her to go through surgery and will have to wait a few weeks to get back in touch with the ball.

The head acknowledges that none likes to go through this for pleasure but she states “throughout my career I’ve never had to go through surgery and now I’m a veteran. For me it is one more experience and I have to take it in the best way so as to be recovered as soon as possible and be able to help the team”. Ainhoa reveals her feelings in full recovery from injury in the following video.
