Athletic Club quarry enjoyed an eventful weekend with their corresponding clashes in all the categories
Before the international break at LaLiga Santander, Athletic Club achieved a comfortable victory with a comeback against Levante UD to achieve a placement at the European classification, while Athletic Club Ladies team did rest during the weekend without matches to be played at Primera Iberdrola. In addition to the first two teams, these are the results of the rest of our teams.
Bilbao Athletic ended up with the good run and after eight matches without a defeat, they did lose 2-0 against Burgos in a clash clearly influenced by the red card to Imanol; despite this mishap, the team led by Joseba Etxeberria, is still the leader of Group II of the Second Division B. CD Basconia started losing in Santurtzi but they managed to get a point thanks to the goal scored by Xabi Naveira that changed the scoreboard to 1-1, 13th day at Group IV at Third Division, day 10th at the Honor Division. Youth B, on the other hand, won 2-1 in Lezama against Tolosa CF with goals by Aimar Duñabeitia and Iker Varela, day 10th at the National League.
Our Cadets team got very different results, Cadets A lost 4-1 against Deportivo Alavés in their clash at la Liga Vasca despite the goals of Ieltxu and Kerman. Cadets B, however, won 1-7 at Astrabudua at the Division of Honor, with doublets by Aimar Vicandi and Beñat, and goals by Aingeru, Alboniga and Asier Hierro.
With a doublet by Ane Azkona and a goal by Paula Arana, Athletic Club Ladies B won a difficult match 3-1 against FC Barcelona B , 9th day at Reto Iberdrola Norte. Athletic Club Ladies C rested due to the break at liga Territorial. Finally, Athletic Club Ladies Cadets scored 0-11 in Getxo against Bizkerre FT.
