Letras y Fútbol reaches halfway

Euskera acquires protagonism in Letras y Fútbol with the authors Aritz Gorrotxategi, Martin Etxebarria and Jon Kortazar.

The X edition of Letras y Fútbol reaches halfway with a new conversation, this time in Euskera (Basque), about literature and football in the East Hall of San Mamés at 7.00 pm.  Aritz Gorrotxategi (Donostia, 1975) is one of the creators of the Balea Zuria publishing house, author, of the novels “Kafkaren labankada”, “Kearen truke”, “Axola ez duenean” and “Koldar hutsa zara”, among others. Martin Etxebarria Garro (Zarautz, 1974) has written four poetry books and five novels, including “Ez dadila eguzkia sartu”. Jon Kortazar (Mundaka, 1955), essayist and researcher, is also Professor of Literature in Euskera and one of the most renowned literature critics of Basque Country.

About yesterday’s meeting

In the meeting of yesterday, Tuesday, was highlighted the Club de Lecture, in which participated the last champion of the League and Cup, the Athletic of the barge, on the book “La ciudad de la Lluvia”, of Alfonso del Río. Later, in San Mamés, José Roberto Torero, Juan Pablo Villalobos and Miqui Otero talked about literature and football in the second lecture of the festival.
