Results of our Youth Academy

Apart from the great victories of our first two teams in La Liga Santander and the Primera Iberdrola, all the categories that make up Athletic Club’s youth academy have enjoyed a couple of days full of football.

Bilbao Athletic lost 2-0 in Gijuelo and gave up the lead in Group II of the Second Division B to UD Logroñés. However, CD Basconia has two consecutive league victories for the first time in the entire season after winning 0-2 in Tolosa with goals from Estrada and Juste in the 15th matchday in Group IV of the Third Division

Victory of Juniors A in La Rioja against Valvanera CD in a 0-2 that was not resolved until Gomeza and Telletxea scored in the second half to lead the Division of Honor. Juniors B, on the other hand, also won, in this case by 2-1 against Cultural of Durango with goals from Ibai Asenjo and Alejandro Rego in the 12th matchday of the National League.

Txaber’s goal allowed Cadets A to draw 1-1 in Getxo against Romo FC in the 11th matchday of the Basque League, while Cadets B performed a powerful encounter in Lekeitio that ended up winning 4-5 with three goals from Asier Hierro, and one from Ugaitz Garcia and Ibon Trujillano.

Regarding Athletic Club Womens B, Amaiur’s hat-trick and Arana’s goal led to a 4-1 triumph against Real Oviedo in Lezama, with which Iraia Iturregi’s team has gone on to lead alone the classification of the Reto Iberdrola Norte at the end of the 11th matchday. The teams C and Cadets are also leaders, after beating Bizkerre FT C and Ibaiondo Nerbioi Erreka FK, respectively.
