The captain of the handball team Balonmano Zuazo, runner-up in the world, will be honoured on Sunday in the prologue of the match Athletic – FC Barcelona
Athletic Club will pay tribute to Ainhoa Hernández, player of Zubileta Evolution Zuazo, this Sunday in the fifteenth matchday of the Primera Iberdrola to be held at San Mamés between Athletic Club and the leader, FC Barcelona (12.00 pm). The pivot from Barakaldo obtained last December the silver medal with the Spain handball team in the World Cup in Japan, after losing in the final against Holland by 30-29.
Hernández, who will make the honour kick off, renewed last summer with the elite handball team. Ainhoa is 24 years old and has been international since 2013. With her talent and effort, she is already an example of leadership and commitment for the young women of the Zuazo youth academy and, despite having received superior offers at state and foreign levels, the captain still prefers to compete in her local team.
