Dani García plays every minute in the first round

Dani García fulfilled the plenum of minutes played yesterday, in the 19th round of LaLiga Santander against Sevilla FC, the first round of the domestic competition. This means that, since the beginning of the competition in August, the midfielder from Zumarraga has played as the head of the team and without being replaced all the matches of Athletic Club LaLiga 2019-2020: 19 matches and 1710 minutes.

An uncommon achievement in the red and white team. In fact, in the last ten seasons, no lion has managed to complete the entire first round from start to finish. Unai Núñez has played 17 full games in a row (1530 minutes) since the beginning of the 2017-2018 season, when he made his debut with Athletic Club. The next player on the list is Andoni Iraola, who in the 2009-2010 season completed 16 games and the first half of the 17th (1485 minutes) before being substituted by David López. He is followed by Iturraspe and San José, both with 1530 minutes, in the 2014-2015 season the first one and in the 2010-2011 season the second one.
