Iago Herrerín and Alex Mumbrú talk #FromHome

Alex Mumbrú, former professional basketball player and current Bilbao Basket’s manager in the Liga Endesa, and Iago Herrerín will enjoy a nice video chat on Friday from their homes. Bilbao Basket and Athletic are two of the most representative clubs in Biscay and both Mumbrú and Herrerín have agreed to take part in this special edition of #FromHome.

Mumbrú arrived in Bilbao in the 2009-10 season and was an “MIB” player until the 2017-18 campaign. When he retired as a player, he became a manager and he still is the coach of the “men in black” nowadays. Since his arrival in Bilbao in the summer of 2009, Mumbrú became fully integrated into the life of the city and the local culture, and soon became a great red-and-white supporter.

As for our goalkeeper, he has always had a thing for basketball. Herrerín is a big fan of Bilbao Basket and does not hesitate to go to Miribilla to watch the men in black in action whenever he has a chance. Iago did not want to miss the event organised on 24 February at San Mamés to show his support for Mumbrú in the premiere of the documentary about his life.
