The goals scored by Elices in the first half and Bata in the second half served to add the last two points and win the League ahead of Real Madrid CF and Real Oviedo, second and third, respectively.

Our striker Agustín Sauto Arana, known as ‘Bata’, scored 21 goals in 20 matches, and went on to lead the classification of historical scorers in a League that would not be retaken until the 1939/40 season, after the Civil War.
