The 2020-21 Athletic Club squad photos pay tribute to Lezama

The 2020-21 squad photos for Athletic Club’s first teams are an homage to Lezama. The training complex which forms the bedrock of Athletic’s unique philosophy will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its first ever training session on January 27, 2021.

To commemorate this important date, the centre has been used as the background for this year’s team picture, whilst the full names of the coaches and technical directors that have worked at Lezama during the past 50 years have also been included in the image.

Making Lezama a success is a team effort. It wouldn’t be possible to turn young boys and girls into professional footballers year after year without the help of many people. Vital work is done by scouts, coaches, doctors and many others.

Over the course of the next few days, the Club will announce the date in which fans will be able to purchase the poster in our official stores and in those of our sponsors.
