Athletic Club’s pre-season begins
Marcelino García Toral’s team starts pre-season on Monday, with medical exams at IMQ and fitness tests at Lezama
The holiday period for Athletic Club’s first-team squad came to an end on Sunday. From Monday onwards, under the direction of Marcelino García Toral and his coaching staff, the first-team squad will start pre-season preparations.
During the first two and a half days they will carry out medicals at IMQ Zorrozaurre as well as different physical tests at Lezama.
On Tuesday afternoon, the team will have their first training session with the ball and for the rest of the week the Lions will have training sessions every day. Until Friday July 16, training will take place at Lezama.
Afterwards, the team will head to St. Gallen, Switzerland for a week to start the second phase of their preparations in which they will play three friendly matches (against FC St. Gallen, Dynamo Kyiv and Borussia Dortmund).
