After undergoing medicals, the Lions have started training in Lezama
Athletic Club have started their pre-season training ahead of the 2021-22 campaign, with head coach Marcelino García Toral overseeing proceedings.
This will be the coach’s first pre-season in charge of Athletic, after coming to Bilbao in January 2021
There will be several sessions before the start the Lions’ pre-season training camp in Switzerland, in the town of St. Gallen, where the Rojiblancos will also play three matches between July 16-24.
The first match will be played on Saturday 17 July at 16:00 CEST against FC St. Gallen at Kybunpark stadium. The second friendly will be on July 20 at 15:00 CEST against Dynamo Kyiv at the Winterthur stadium.
The last clash of the tour sees Athletic take on German side Borussia Dortmund at Kybunpark on Saturday July 24 at 16:00 CEST.
