The goalkeeper and sports officials agree on a holiday period after his Euro 2020 and Olympic Games tour
Unai Simón has a few days off from today after his time at the Euro 2020 and the Tokyo Olympics, so he will not be available for next Monday’s league opener match against Elche CF. This has been agreed between the goalkeeper himself and the Club’s sporting directors.
The international goalkeeper, semi-finalist at the continental tournament and silver medallist in Tokyo, returned to Lezama on Wednesday at his own request to complete the morning session with his teammates. Simón will now have a well-deserved rest before returning to the group dynamic.
