In addition to visiting the training facilities, Athletic Club’s youth teams and the French club will play a couple of friendlies
Lezama continues to be an attraction and an inspiration for those clubs looking to explore how academies can produce young players for first-team football. After hosting several top teams for the ECA Congress, and then SL Benfica in a separate visit, Toulouse FC have come to see the facilities where future Athletic players train every day.
The visiting party includes Damien Comolli, President of Toulouse FC; Selinay Gurnec, Head of Strategy and Culture; Julien Lacour, General Manager of the Academy; and Denis Zanko, Technical Director of the Academy.
To round off the visit, youth sides from both clubs will play a couple of friendles: Athletic Under 14s vs Toulouse FC Under 14s (17:30 CEST) and Athletic Under 15s vs Toulouse FC Under 15s (19:15 CEST)
