The travelling party, led by president Jon Uriarte, flew to Düsseldorf on Saturday afternoon with 31 players

Athletic Club left for their training camp in Germany on Saturday afternoon. During the Lions’ stay in Germany, they will play four friendly matches.

The travelling party, which includes club president Jon Uriarte, will fly from Bilbao to Düsseldorf at 17:30 CEST, staying at the Meliá Hotel once they reach the German city.

The following day, the team will play in the Cup of Traditions at Duisburg’s Schauinsland Reisen Arena. It’s a mini tournament in which Athletic will play 45-minute matches against Borussia Mönchengladbach (17:00) and the local side MSV Duisburg (18:00).

After the match, the team will head to the town of Harsewinkel, where they will set up camp and start preparing for matches against Bochum on Thursday 21 (18:00) and Mainz 05 on Saturday 23 (17:00).
