Ane Azkona makes Spain debut
The Athletic Club Women player came on as an injury-time substiute during Spain's win against USA
Athletic Club Women forward Ane Azkona, 24, made her international debut in Spain's 2-0 win over the United States on Monday night.
The Pamplona-born footballer, who has previosuly been capped at youth level, replaced Maite Oroz in stoppage-time.
Ane was not the only Lioness involved in the fixture. Defender Oihane Hernández was in the starting XI and provided an assist for the second goal.
