Opened in collaboration with LaLiga, Athletic's new X (Twitter) account targets a potential audience of more than 400 million people
Athletic Club has taken another step forward with its internationalisation strategy by launching an offical Arabic account on X (formely known as Twitter). Opened in collaboration with LaLiga, the channel targets a potential audience of more than 420 million people.
@Athletic_Arab will provide in-depth and personalised coverage of every Los Leones fixture in addition to unique content designed specifically for the millions of fans in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) territory who follow LaLiga on a daily basis and are looking for the latest news about the competition.
Working together with Athletic's communications department and LaLiga, the new Arabic account will also publish content designed to raise awareness about the club's unique philosophy and other aspects of our culture.
The account will help Athletic cross borders and expand our brand in an international market which is becoming increasingly interested in football.
