Athletic Women sign CA Osasuna striker Patri Zugasti

Athletic Club and Patri Zugasti (22 years old), CA Osasuna's goal scorer, have reached an agreement to sign until 30 June 2026. The player from Riezu, who has been at Tajonar for six seasons, has scored eleven goals this year for the red team in the Primera Federación league.

Zugasti, who has played for Navarrese clubs such as San Juan, Ardoi, Lagunak and Mulier, a Lezama club, arrives released from her contract after a great season. Last year she already stood out in Osasuna with five goals and seven assists, but this year she has had a greater scoring burden and has only been surpassed in the scoring charts by Barcelona's second team Ari.

The signing of the contract took place in Ibaigane in the presence of Athletic Club president, Jon Uriarte, and the Women's sporting director, Xabi Arrieta.

Patri Zugasti has highlighted that "I am fulfilling the dream of my life, to play in the First Division, and where better than in a club like Athletic which is so committed to women's football and does such a great job."
