Itxaso renews her contract with Athletic Club
The midfielder from Gasteiz, who has played 54 games in two seasons, has signed for one season with an option for another
Athletic Club and Itxaso Uriarte (31 years old) have reached an agreement to extend the player's contract for one more season, with an option to extend it by one year from 30 June 2024. The midfielder from Gasteiz has played a total of 30 games this past season and has made 54 official appearances since her arrival two seasons ago.
Itxaso arrived at Lezama in July 2021 from Real Sociedad, a club she defended for a decade. She trained at Aurrera de Vitoria and made her first-team debut with Real Sociedad in September 2011. The player from Alava brings to Athletic Club plenty of experience in the elite and balance in midfield.
