Athletic took part in a conference held last Thursday at the prestigious Hungarian training centre alongside leading clubs such as AS Monaco, Hoffenheim and Eintracht Frankfurt
Lezama continues to actively participating in football conferences to showcase its youth development model and learn lessons for further growth and progress.
On this occasion, Aitor Ugarte, Lezama's director of sports science, who gave a presentation last Thursday at the prestigious Hungarian Puskas Academy, an emerging club that finished third in last season's league championship.
The event was organised by the Centre of Football Education and Methodology, a collaborator with the Hungarian federation, and the talk was about physical preparation and the performance department.
Coaches from other leading academy clubs also attended, such as: AS Monaco, Eintracht Frankfurt, KRC Genk, TSG Hoffenheim, Lech Poznan, Nottingham Forest and Dinamo Zagreb.
This season, Lezama has participated, among others, in different relevant conferences such as Benfica, Dinamo Tblisi, Hoffenheim, Fenerbahce, PSV Eindhoven and Florence and those related to the ECA (European Clubs' Association) in Seville, as well as the Sports Data Campus and the Isokinetic Conference organised at the Civitas Metropolitano in Madrid.
In addition, throughout this season, clubs such as Chivas, Tigres, Borussia Dortmund, Benfica, PSV Eindhoven, US Cremonese, Aston Villa, Bayern Munich, AFC Bournemouth and MTK Budapest have visited Athletic's facilities to exchange information and learn about our methods.
