Tips and advice about the MHP Arena, where Athletic will face the Bundesliga runners-up in our final pre-season test
This Saturday at 15:30 CEST, Athletic Club take on Bundesliga runners-up VfB Stuttgart for our last warm-up match of the 2024/25 pre-season. Below there is some relevant information for any Athleticzale who wants to attend the fixture.
Tickets are still available on VfB’s website. Fans are welcome to sit in any part of the ground, but the German club have activated sections 68-70 in the Untertürkheimer Kurve specifically for Athletic supporters, where a seat costs €25.
The MHP Arena is well serviced by public transport. If you get the tram, take the U19 line to NeckarPark (Stadion), while the closest train station is Neckarpark on the S1 line.
As this is Stuttgart’s final match before the season, they have also organised a ‘Fan Fest’ outside the stadium, which will run from 10:00 in the morning.
German-based Athleticzales will be meeting at the Palm Beach Bar in front of the stadium around 14:00 CEST and invite any visting fans to meet there for a drink before heading into the stadium together.
