Nanclares and Astralaga called up to Spain squad
New head coach Sonia Bermúdez has selected both goalkeepers for the Nations League semi-final against Sweden
Athletic Club goalkeeper Adriana Nanclares is in the Spanish national team for their Nations League semi-final against Sweden. Eunate Astralaga, on loan at SD Eibar, has also been called up.
The side is now led by Sonia Bermúdez with Zurigorri legend Iraia Iturregi as her assistant coach.
The first leg will take place at La Rosaleda on Friday 24 October (20:00 CEST), with the return leg in Sweden on Tuesday 28 October (19:00 CEST).
