

Juan Garizurieta Gorriño former player and former executive of Athletic Club died last Wednesday in Algorta (Getxo). The funeral will be officiated this afternoon at 19.30 hours in the church San Ignacio in Algorta (Getxo). Tonight, in honour of Garizurieta, the players of Athletic Club will carry black armband. Garizurieta played 75 matches of League with Athletic Club (4 goals) and 8 of Spanish Cup, from the 1926-1927 season till the 1933-1934 season. He was champion of League in the 29/30, 30/31 and 33/34 seasons, as well as of Spanish Cups in the 29/30, 30/31, 31/32 and 32/33 seasons. He played one match with Spanish team.
