Athletic Club women’s team has given an important step to win the Superleague, defeating Puebla (5-1) in his debut in San Mamés. As well as the triumph, we have to mention, and Athletic Club wants to be grateful publicly for the main part played by the red and white fans.
Once more they have showed signs of how to behave and identification with any of our teams and, in fact, they have bursted the most optimistic forecasts of attendance to La Catedral. In this sense, given that it was the first experience with our women’s team, Athletic Club wants to use this note of thankfulness to apologize for the troubles that some fans must have stand to come in San Mamés. We insist on the lack of previous references has forced us, finally, to free the entry to the pitch at about 12:10 hours to avoid avalanche in doors and box offices, and delays at the moment of being able to be present at the match. We want to reiterate the thankfulness to the attending people and the excuses to all the people affected.
