Real Madrid 3-Athletic Club 0: Match without points

Athletic Club has played a good match in Santiago Bernabéu. This has not translated into points because, in soccer, both things don’t always go hand in hand. The play that unfolded has been excellent, and more so when we’re referring to the pitch of one of the best teams of the League. It’s enough to say that its goalkeeper Iker Casillas has had to intervene on nine occasions, six of which seemed destined to become goals. It has not been such and, unfortunately, the quality of Ronaldo, helped by debatable arbitration decisions, has done the remainder before the half time, at the resumption and in the third goal play, born from his boots.

There remains the consolation that Santiago Bernabéu’s, where play is concerned, is the only road to achieve anything in the present League.
