Bilbao Athletic has ended its undefeated winning streak after being defeated by Recreación in a match where willpower has just not been enough. Martin Furiga has scored a header for the 0-1 in the minute 34 of play and; although Llorente and Arruabarrena have had, after the rest, individual one on ones in front of goalie Rammer, the draw has not been possible. The match got even worse with the expulsion of Arruabarrena in the second half because of double yellow.

For Bilbao Athletic, the following have played: Pampin, Gontzal, Goikoetxea, Amorebieta, Moya; Martins, Iturriaga; Lafuente, Arruabarrena, Paredes and Llorente. In the second half Galdos went in for Paredes, De Paula for Llorente and Lizoain for Lafuente.
