Livening up the Athletic Club-Betis match

In order to liven up the pre-match period of the Athletic Club-Betis game as well as the encounter itself, various initiatives have been taken. On the one hand, twelve 3×2 metre rojiblanco flags will be distributed throughout the San Mamés stands. Four in the Southern Stand, three in the Eastern Stand, another three in the Northern Stand and two in the Lateral Stand. This initiative has the approval of the Basque Government’s Interior Department.

On the other hand, Athletic Club and Mundo Deportivo newspaper have reached an agreement in which the already mentioned paper will compose a mosaic in the stands of San Mamés. The Deusto Supporters Club, who will be celebrating their tenth anniversary this year, have been in charge of all the arrangements of this event.

On the reverse side of the cards, which will be placed on the seats, the instructions as well as the Athletic Club hymn words and the lyrics to the Harrobiaz Harro song can be found. Athletic Club appreciates the collaboration shown by the newspaper and the Deusto Supporters Club on such an important occasion.

Besides, we would like to remind those attending the match that during the pre-match period, the Athletic Club line-up will be sung: a speaker will call out the player’s first name and the general public will chant the player’s surname or nickname.

Keeping all of this in mind, we kindly ask the public to get to San Mamés earlier than usual.
