Around 500 Athletic Club fans have already taken advantage of the ‘Harrobi Txartela’, the membership card prompted by our organization with the purpose of facilitating access to San Mamés to youngsters.
The initiative, introduced by the rojiblanca administration the past month of July, has received a good welcome by the public. ‘Harrobi Txartela’ is directed to youngsters less than 23 years of age and offers the preferred possibility to become a member of Athletic Club upon the expiration of the card, which is personal and non-transferable.
‘Harrobi Txartela’ holders have the right to access the Cathedral on all the Liga matches – except on Club Days- and all the Copa matches until the quarterfinals. However, even if this last situation were to occur, the seat would be reserved and sold to holders at member prices.
The requirements to become a rojiblanco ‘youth card’ holder are quite simple; you must be less than 23 years of age and present two personal photographs and a photocopy of your identity card at the Member Services offices in Ibaigane, from 22 to 28 December and starting from 19 January. The timetable is from Monday through Friday, 09:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 18:00. The annual fee for 2006 is 300 euros, and localities can still be acquired for the North and South Preferences; a key area of the field where cheers of support for the team is concerned.
