Athletic Club, wearing their new third kit, presented the following starting line-up against Barakaldo: 1 Lafuente, 2 Expósito 4 Ustaritz 5 Amorebieta 8 Javi Martínez 14 Prieto 19 Murillo 20 Urzaiz (Captain), 22 Garmendia 24 Iturriaga and 25 Beñat.

On the substitute bench were: 13 Aranzubia 7 Tiko 10 Yeste 11 Gabilondo 16 Orbaiz 17 Etxeberria and 21 Dañobeitia.
